AutoArduino is now in beta, and everyone can try it!
Join the beta here.
This one has been requested for a very very long time but it’s finally here: you can now control your Arduino from Tasker!
I don’t have much experience with the Arduino so I’m still not that sure what I’m doing, but that’s the beauty of Tasker: I don’t need to! 🙂 This gives you the foundation so you can do anything you want with it!
In this case I made it possible to control your Arduino’s pins (digital and analogue) with Tasker, so you can do anything you want with it like toggling a LED as shown above!
I don’t need to have in-depth knowledge of the Arduino to do this, but the AutoArduino’s end-user will be able to totally control everything with it!
Get it running
To start off you need to install the AutoArduino Sketch on your Arduino itself. Get it here.
Then you can download the example Tasker project here. Make sure to follow the directions at the link
Current limitations
AutoArduino will only work via USB right now with an OTG Cable. I plan on making it compatible with BT receivers or maybe even with Wifi receivers.
