A badge looks like this:

Read Badges
This action allows you to read the last badge count applied by any app. This doesn't actually read the current value but simply retrieves the last one that AutoTools intercepted, so if AutoTools wasn't installed when a badge was set, it won't retrieve the correct value.
Write Badges
This action also allows you to update an app's icon badge on supported launchers.
Not all launchers support badges and even some that do don't allow badges to be set separately so this action may not always work for you.
Launchers known to work:
- LG Stock launcher
- Samsung Stock launcher
- Apex launcher
- Smart launcher
Launchers known to
NOT work:
- Nova Launcher
- Lightning Launcher
- Action Launcher
- Nexus Stock launcher
Note that this list is mostly community fed. I, the developer, haven't actually tried it on all these launchers.
